Filming on the Set of Careless Love
The film, directed by John Duigan (The Year My Voice Broke) is about a Vietnamese Australian uni student, who starts working as an escort in order to aid her family and pay her uni fees. It ‘focuses on the challenges involved establishing an identity independently of how others – and society – perceive us.’ I play the love interest’s bitchy ex-girlfriend, who makes it public that Lihn, the main character, is working as a call girl. It was a lot of fun to be a part of.
